What is Bat?

The Bat is the baseline human weapon. Attack speed is fast, with about 2 seconds between swings. Each hit on a Smiler pays 1 Smile Coin, so a full Bat is 10 coins. Before a Spring 2022 change the stun was 2.5 seconds. The shorter stun means a miss lets a Smiler grab.

How do you get Bat?

Take it from Rob at spawn, from the bat box at spawn or the fortress, or from map boxes such as the conveyor room. A second copy is refused until the one you hold breaks. If it is your selected primary, a supply box also appears at the fortress wall.

How do you use Bat?

Use it to stun while a teammate lands a Bottle or to cover a retreat into orange light. It is one of the eight items for the all-weapons badge.

What is the difference between white light and orange light?

White Infecting Light, usually from camera stands, turns a human into a Smiler. Orange Depressing Light kills Smilers and lets humans walk through.

How do I break a Smiler grab?

A Knife, Handgun, or Shotgun can be used while you are held. A Hatchet also breaks Giant grabs. Teammates can hit the Smiler. Iron Potion and Endangered status stop a Knife escape.

Are there Infectious Smile codes for free coins?

No active or expired reward codes showed up on public lists checked through October 2026, and the experience page does not list a code reward. Numbers such as 156228002 open the Raided Hideout safe only when the desk note asks for them.

Which items count for Obtained All Weapons In One Life?

Bat, Bottle, Knife, Handgun, Shotgun, Hatchet, Ice Potion, and Invisibility Potion, all at the same time, without dying. The Tommy Gun and the shop melees do not count.

How do levels work?

Points to leave your current level n equal 100n + 20. Those points are the same events that pay Smile Coins. The Tommy Gun requires level 10.
